Journal History

The Journal of Geospatial Science and Analytics (JGSA) was conceived with a deep commitment to expanding the accessibility of geospatial knowledge across various disciplines

The founding team, composed of experts with varied academic training in mathematics, statistics, geography, environmental science, computer science, engineering, and data analytics, collaborated to establish a journal that would not only publish research but also foster collaborations and innovations within the geospatial community. The collective vision was to create a space where interdisciplinary approaches to geospatial science could flourish and be shared across a global network of researchers and professionals.

As a result of these discussions and aspirations, JGSA was born. It aims to provide an open-access platform for high-quality research, contributing to the broader mission of advancing education and knowledge in the geospatial domain.

The inaugural issue of the journal is set to be published in March 2025. This milestone will mark the beginning of an exciting journey under the stewardship of FoundAE (Foundation of Advanced Education), a publisher dedicated to supporting the growth of knowledge and education in scientific fields. With its focus on accessibility, collaboration, and the exchange of innovative ideas, the journal promises to become an essential resource for anyone engaged in the evolving world of geospatial science and analytics.

JGSA is poised to become a leading platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners in the field, fulfilling its mission of bridging gaps, enhancing knowledge exchange, and driving global progress in the geospatial sciences.
