About the Journal

Journal of Geothermal Research and Volcanology (JoGRaV) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in geothermal sciences and volcanology. The journal serves as an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate original research, reviews, and technical studies related to geothermal systems, volcanic processes, and their interactions with the Earth’s lithosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere.

JoGRaV aims to promote high-quality scientific contributions that enhance the understanding of geothermal resources, volcanic hazards, subsurface processes, and sustainable energy development, particularly in tectonically active regions. The journal welcomes contributions employing field observations, laboratory experiments, numerical modeling, and integrated multi-disciplinary approaches.
