Author Guidelines

The Journal of Geothermal Research and Volcanology (JoGRaV) provides the following guidelines to assist authors in preparing manuscripts for submission. Authors are encouraged to carefully follow these instructions to ensure efficient review and publication.

General Standards

Manuscripts submitted to JoGRaV must present original research that has not been published or submitted elsewhere. All submissions must comply with ethical standards and the journal’s publication policies.

Language Editing

JoGRaV requires manuscripts to meet international standards of the English language. Articles are published in English only. Authors whose first language is not English are strongly encouraged to have their manuscripts professionally edited prior to submission.

Language editing improves clarity and readability but does not guarantee acceptance. Editorial decisions are based solely on scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

Language Style

The default language style is American English. Authors who prefer British English must indicate this preference on the first page of the manuscript.
