Article Processing Charge

To support the sustainability of open-access publishing and maintain high editorial and peer-review standards, the Journal of Geothermal Research and Volcanology (JoGRaV) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) policy.

APC Policy

  • Indonesian Authors:
    USD 180 or IDR 3,000,000 per accepted article.

  • International Authors (outside Indonesia):
    Free of charge (No APC).

Payment Information

  • The APC is charged only after the manuscript has been formally accepted following the double-blind peer-review process.

  • Payment instructions will be sent directly to the corresponding author via official email from the editorial office.

  • Authors are responsible for any applicable bank transfer fees or transaction charges.

Waiver Policy

  • Authors from outside Indonesia are automatically granted a full APC waiver.

  • Indonesian authors who experience financial constraints may request a partial or full waiver, which will be evaluated by the Editorial Office on a case-by-case basis.

Transparency Statement

  • The APC has no influence on editorial decisions.

  • All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, regardless of the authors’ ability to pay.

Through this APC policy, JoGRaV aims to ensure high-quality publishing standards while promoting equitable access and global dissemination of geothermal and volcanology research.
